Burlap wreaths are a popular item in home decor because of the natural, organic feel that they bring to any space! They can be used to decorate your home throughout the year or customized for special holidays. I had so much fun making this beautiful burlap wreath for Easter and was shocked at just how quick and easy it was to make!

Here’s what you will need:

- metal ring

- package of burlap (10 yards)

- scissors

- hot glue gun

- twist ties

- decorations (I used homemade yarn easter eggs)

 

Directions:

1. Secure the burlap to the metal ring with a twist tie

2. Fold the burlap in half while applying it to the wreath to give it a fuller look

3. Start by pulling the burlap through the bottom space to create a loop

4. Next pull it through the middle space to create a second loop

5. Finally pull it through the top loop to create  a third loop

6. This is what it should look like from above

7. This is what it should look like from the side

8. Repeat this process of pulling the burlap through the bottom, middle and top spaces in this order until the wreath is complete

9. Be sure to push the set of loops close together as you go and fluff the burlap to make it look full

10. Place the decorations that you would like to add onto the burlap wreath and space them appropriately

11. Secure them in place with a hot glue gun
